[...] MonticelloLive wrote an interesting post today onHere’s a quick excerpt Am I actually seeing this or is this just a horrible nightmare…..someone please tell me its the later. I mean, I knew albert meant a lot to this team especially offensively, but I did not know that they would struggle this badly to score runs. what’s it now? on 18 runs scored in the last 7 games? that comes out to be 2.57 runs a game and that is simply not good enough. I personally thought the starters will be the first to be bomb; I actually thought that the bullpen was one of the stronges [...]

My company does video news stories on great people with awesome attitudes -- they don't get much better than some of the Negro League players who broke barriers in baseball!

You can see a video we did at MLB's recent symbolic draft of Negro League players, which includes Millito Navarro, Peanut Johnson, Charley Pride and Bill Blair as well as Ken Griffey and Dave Winfield.

I hope you enjoy it!

Blog titles are terrible to come up with. It's like naming something daily, and I am really bad at naming things.

Good to see the Cards get the win. Here's hoping for a strong weekend against the Pirates and the Rockies finish the job one of these games and beat the Cubs. (Blowing a 9-1 lead. Incredible.)

I think it's a very good thing that they aren't rushing Mulder. Right now, the pitching staff is doing well, so you'd hate to tinker with it unless you are sure you are making it better. And it gives more time for Mo to pull off some sort of trade.

You are probably right on the lineup. Also, for the Brewers, expect Weeks to rest and Counsell to play.

Hope Izzy's just in a little funk and it's nothing long-term. I can't handle too many of those kind of games!

What? Are you letting real life get in the way? Where are your priorities, man? C'mon! :)

There's a lot of reasons why the Cardinals may come down to earth. But we've got to enjoy it while we can and who knows? Stick around a while, make a trade, stranger things have happened!

I agree with Rick. Let Anthony pitch. Duncan doesn't seem to work with the young talent as he does with the old guys. If they would get rid of Anthony I believe that this would be a great lost for St. Louis. Give him a chance.
