A world series winner for the cardinals( quoting the late great jack buck)!

we did it, the cards did it! we are the 2006 champions of the WORLD!

are you kidding me? its finally happened. go crazy folks, go crazy!

eckstein got the mvp and he deserved it. heck, anyone on the team deserved it because everyone contributed.

it did not matter who got the mvp of the w.s., the championship is what mattered, and we got it! the 10th in cardinals history and second most in the mlb!
