the cards lost yesterday to the atlanta braves 6-3. the game was televised on ksdk (channel 5) and it was the first televised game of the season.

carp pitched 4 2/3 innings giving up only two hits, walked none and struck out one.

overall, it was his best outing of the spring. can’t say the same about the bullpen.

tyler johnson and josh hancock both had bad outings. brendan ryan and ryan ludwick both had good games offensively for the redbirds.

bills update: well, the bills got pummeled friday losing to GW 60-40. the dreams are all gone. no more ncaa hope and not even a bid to the nit.

well, there is always next year i guess. this was a disappointing year, but a small improvement none the less over the previous year. the bills got to the 20 win mark this season, which they have not done in a long time.

better luck next year i guess. they should be competitive next season because lisch and liddell are a year older and wiser.
