All is right with the world again

March 28, 2007

prince albert

yesterday’s game was what i was looking for from carp and AP, to finish spring training in style and on top of their respective game.

well, i got what i wished for; both players did extremely well.

carp looked rather sharp in his final spring tune up before his start on opening day. the former cy young award winner pitched seven shutout innings of four hit ball, while walking two and striking out five.

both hancock and flores pitched 1,2,3 innings and the cards shut out the dodgers offense.

also, prince albert restored order to the universe by launching his first homer in 62 at bats (first homer of the spring that is). he also singled and walked.

so, the cards blank the dodgers, 3-0.
